PRESS RELEASE:
Chris Egginton and Peter Morris completed their first test session for the 2004 Porsche Club season with very positive results after a two day test [29th & 30th March] at Croft in their identical 968 Club Sports.
"The cars have come out right on the pace" explained Chris today, "I was amazed we only needed to make a few set up changes to get the cars putting in quick times. Pete & I have come away from Croft feeling fairly confident that the 968's can be on the pace for the first race in a couple of week's time."
Peter adds: "Having a couple of days at Croft gave Chris & me the chance to try different things with the cars and swap information from the data-loggers to put together the best time. Chris is quite technical and this has helped me to get the time from the car so quickly".
The Team are out for three more test days with the 968?s before the first double-header races at Croft on 17th & 18th April.
"There's a very positive feeling in the Team said Chris, "It's been great working alongside a team mate and I've been really impressed with Pete's ideas and how quickly he pulled the time out of the car. I'm really excited about getting out for the first race".
Ends.
